Social networks in Colombia were saturated by a series of videos, recorded around 9 p.m. in the streets of Bogotá, its capital, showing an “unidentified object” in the city\’s night sky.

In dozens of recordings it was possible to see how the object in question, which according to an Internet user remained over the city for about 40 minutes, emitted lights of different colors.
By spreading the images of the event, the citizens expressed the most diverse theories. Thus, there were Internet users who claimed to have witnessed an a̳l̳i̳e̳n̳ invasion and even captured a U̳F̳O̳ over Bogotá
Some more assumed that it was a drone, while others concluded that what was observed was a kite with lights.
Although no authority has clarified the presence of the objects so far, the conclusion reached by the users of this social network is that they were kites with LED lights.

The phenomenon occurred in the town of Puente Aranda south of Bogotá and while capturing the lights, one of them passed near the camera and caused a transformer to explode.
The person who recorded the images assures that the events occurred at around 2 in the morning and that he does not find another way to explain what happened, because he is sure that what he saw was a series of unidentified flying objects .
