The Sumerians built a sophisticated spaceport, sent out spaceships, and journeyed across space 7000 years ago.

On a business trip to Dhi Qar in 2016, the Iraqi Transport Minister Kazim Finjan made the startling revelation. He claims that the Sumerians had a spaceport of their own and actively explored the solar system.
The Sumerians lived in a complex culture between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers in Mesopotamia, subsequently known as Babylonia and today situated in Iraq and Syria.
The Sumerian pyramids are on par with the Egyptian pyramids in terms of aesthetic splendor. Numerous theories, including those of U̳F̳O̳logists, have been put out to explain the function of the massive buildings known as ziggurats that were constructed in A̳n̳c̳i̳e̳n̳t̳ Mesopotamia. Nobody anticipated the official would say what she did.
An enormous structure known as a ziggurat was constructed in A̳n̳c̳i̳e̳n̳t̳ Mesopotamia to elevate the temple higher in the sky. The Mesopotamians saw these pyramid temples as a bridge between heaven and earth.
Numerous different gods were worshipped by the Sumerians. They prayed to the sky gods Enki, Enlil, Lord Wind, Inanna, the queen of heaven, Utu, and Sin as well as to the gods of water, knowledge, mischief, crafts, and creation, Anu, Enki, and Enlil (moon-god).
They invented the wheel, cuneiform writing, arithmetic, geometry, irrigation, saws and other tools, sandals, chariots, harpoons, and beer, among other things.
The earliest airports and spaceship launch pads, according to Finjan, were constructed in the A̳n̳c̳i̳e̳n̳t̳ towns of Eridu and Ur some 7000 years ago. Sadly, the minister made no attempt to explain how the Sumerians acquired this information or why there is no evidence of their existence.
Professor Kamal Aziz Ketuly saw three Sumerian clay tablets containing cuneiform writing and paintings while touring the Sumerian section of the Iraqi Museum in Baghdad. These tablets date to about 3000 BC. He claims to have seen heliocentric depictions of the solar system on one of the tablets.
Furthermore, “Mesopotamians possessed a calendar with months and years starting approximately 3000 BC, demonstrating that the Moon was examined at that early age.” All five of the visible planets, the Moon, the Sun, the stars, and other celestial phenomena were identified and studied in A̳n̳c̳i̳e̳n̳t̳ Mesopotamia. Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn are the planets at play.
Several scientific ideas attempt to explain the origins of multi-tiered temples. Given that it was constructed for the gods, one of them is the need to maintain the building’s pristine state for as long as feasible. As a consequence, each new layer was added on top of the one before it.
The desire for the heavenly realm was expressed by the Sumerians. There could be a connection between the quantity of platforms and the prominence of its users. Remember that there were no minerals or plants in Lower Mesopotamia. Given that the Sumerians were active merchants, it is difficult to pinpoint where the components for a functioning spaceship came from.
The truth will be hidden by the fog of time. If they had, the Sumerians would have left the globe long ago.
