This is the sixth night in a row that commercial aircraft pilots report luminous points traveling through the sky of Rio Grande do Sul without any explanation. Specialists have not yet been able to explain the origin of the objects.
Images transmitted by channels dedicated to aviation show, live, the colored lights that appear and disappear in the sky of Porto Alegre, this time, between the night of Wednesday (9) and dawn of this Thursday (10).
The lights appear moving at high altitude and can be seen by both pilots and people on the ground. The lights, sometimes colored, appear in the sky for a short time, which varies between 5 to 8 seconds. Sometimes they appear in groups of different sizes and speeds, and move in different directions.
At 11:49 pm on Wednesday (9), a pilot told the conning tower that he saw a bright spot, but there was no plane on the radar, as in other episodes reported in recent days. The live stream was followed by thousands of people on YouTube.
The luminous points, considered unidentified flying objects, are still a mystery and, despite the various theories, no one has been able to explain what it is.
The FAB Air Defense Integrated Center in Curitiba has already received reports that commercial aircraft pilots saw new lights from unidentified objects in the skies over Porto Alegre on Wednesday night.
