His theory explains:

“These creatures were deliberately spread to Earth by intelligent beings from another planet, so we conclude that it is possible that life came to Earth in this way, but current scientific evidence is insufficient to support this possibility. In another work published in 2012, of which Wickramasinghe was a co-author, entitled “Non-terrestrial origin of life: a transformative research paradigm shift” the scientist expresses:
